The Hall-Carpenter Archives (HCA) founded in 1982 are the largest source for the study of gay activism in Britain which followed the publication of the Wolfenden Report in 1957.

Holdings include papers donated by Peter Tatchell, including those relating to the now notorious 1983 Bermondsey by election.
