Some pictures from the Pleasure Garden

Lovely to have some pictures of our Valentine's Night in the Museum of London's pleasure garden (all images c. Museum of London)

Peter Daniels c. Museum of London

Peter Daniels, got up in a tricorn hat for the maiden voyage of his new poem about Captain Edward Rigby.  Captain Rigby was arrested for attempted buggery in 1698 and a record of the case remains in London Metropolitan Archive.

Peter's poem is notable both for its careful historical accuracy and also for being pretty jawdroppingly filthy.  We will be publishing it along with two other poems commissioned by Write Queer London this year, in March.
