Come and enjoy theatre, wine, creative writing and Islington Museum's acclaimed new Joe Orton exhibition as part of the Write Queer London festival.

Curator Cheryl Smith introduces an exhibition including Orton's sexy Moroccan diaries and many of the Islington library book covers 'improved' by Orton and Halliwell, leading to their imprisonment.  Then playwright Phil Setren leads a creative writing workshop on the art of writing an Ortonesque scene - helped by actors, who will be performing pieces from Orton himself and some of the playwrights he has influenced.
