A fine Grade 1 Listed country house built in 1540 for Sir John Champneis, Lord Mayor of London, and extended in the 17th century. Open to the public with free admission Hall Place is set in beautiful formal gardens on the banks of the River Cray. On the upper floors of the house are the Bexley Museum galleries which offer a changing programme of exhibitions throughout the year. The house is also the venue for concerts, lectures and private functions.
